The Thai Constellation Monstera has unique white markings on its leaves, reminiscent of the starry sky. Some leaves will have broad white spots, making them instantly recognizable and distinctive.
As Monsteras age, the leaves they produce have more fenestrations (holes/or slits), allowing water to run through their broad leaves in their native environment. Monsteras are an aroid, meaning they can produce a type of flower called a spadix, similar to a peace lily. These large plants can grow 1-2 feet per year and will likely require support, as they climb tree trunks in their native habitat.
Monstera prefer bright light and moderate water.
