With a reputation of being one of the hardiest plants, the Heartleaf Philodendron makes a great beginner plant. The dark green, almost matte leaves grow on trailing vines, making these a great plant to display in a hanging pot or have cascading down from a shelf. Philodendrons prefer bright light and to dry out slightly between waterings.
